Description
Unique black-and-white view of the interior of a home under construction, as viewed by an iPhone held up to the hole where the doorknob will be. The door could not be opened, so the prospective owner was unable to get in. Undeterred, she held her iPhone up to the doorknob hole, which frames this picture, and took a shot. The camera then captured what was not visible to the human eye.
Where she saw only a dark hole and no subject, there was actually lots of work in progress in the interior and, on the far wall, a symbol that reminded her who is in charge: the Project Manager, or Master Carpenter, represented by a cross.
An unusual conversation piece for home or office that is also available in color, mainly neutral brown tones. Could be construed as religious or symbolic, depending upon one's vantage point. This was a wild-and-crazy shot that probably should not have worked, but did. An exterior shot of an interior. No sky, no people. Just floor and walls covered with paper, making some walls look a bit crooked. A story-telling scene and lesson learned:
Take a chance. Point your camera and take a shot. It might not turn out. Then again, it might. What if you forever missed seeing what was really there in full view, and you were only temporarily blocked from entering.

A very creative image! l/f
Connie Fox replied:
I'm so pleased to stumble upon these comments. Actually I was a little bummed to be locked out of my own house, so I put my phone up to the doorknob hole and took a picture. I never imagined it would turn out, John! True confessions: I had no clue that this would work. The creativity did not come from me!
