Description
Beautiful color macro side view of a red hibiscus blossom, dripping wet. Some droplets dangle from the flower. One is blue, portraying the sadness in love. Red illustrates passion, and green shows growth. To some it may simply be a beautiful flower in which interesting shapes and patterns are seen in the petals.
In this exquisite, detailed closeup photograph, stem details are seen, too, but the bright yellow and red center, the pistil, is not visible. Lovely bokeh in the dark background.
Hibiscus are in the mallow family, Malvaceae, sometimes called rose mallow. Hibiscus is a large vivid flower often made into tea or worn in the hair, and the symbol of many nations. This flower blooms daily in spring and summer in tropical or subtropical areas around the world. This red hibiscus plant thrives in the Houston, Texas, area of the USA.
