Description
My Neanderthal Man keeps growing on me, and I love him! Color photograph in neutral tones of a display at the Dinosaur Exhibit, Houston Museum of Natural Science, Houston, Texas, USA, August 2013, showing a head-and-shoulders re-creation in wax of a Neanderthal man, or Neandertal, named for the Neander Valley.
Scientists now think that people today, classified as Homo sapiens, did not come after the Neandertals but were their contemporaries.
Nikon D80, hand-held, indoors with flash. Processed in Photoshop Elements 12 in 2014.
