Description
Exterior closeup of an old, crumbling brick building in the Historic District of Port Townsend, Washington, USA, located between Port Angeles and Seattle. Holes in its facade reveal how the brick was arranged and set, creating an interesting study of vintage construction in this small American port town. Beneath the window, half of which is shown in the shade of a tree, one can see shims between the bricks rather than the usual mortar. The brick has been painted blue, but the original orange brick color shows through in sections weathered and worn by time.
