PAINTERLY VERSION SUBMITTED IN JUNE 2019 TAKES THE PLACE OF THIS. Posted that one and forgot that this one had been submitted previously. Hadn't seen it in a long time. (Can't carry over the visits and features, so I'm retiring the first one. Feel safer with the painterly version.)
Sharp, crisp, blue-and-white photograph, with touches of orange, of a couple strolling on the deck of the Coho, a beautiful white ferry that cruises between Port Angeles, Washington, USA, and Victoria, B.C., Canada (on Vancouver Island). Great travel image that will make you want to go on a cruise!
The young couple, a man and a woman, are not identifiable. They are hidden in shadow and partially turned away. Victoria can be seen in the distance, on the beautiful horizon topped with white stratus clouds and a gorgeous blue sky. Also available as a painterly image. Nikon D80, Nikkor 50mm/f1.8 lens with ND filter, shot outdoors with available light. Processed in 2014 in Photoshop Elements 12 with minimal enhancements.
