Beautiful color closeup photo showing bright yellow lantana flowers blooming in the morning light. This image is filled with joy and cheerfulness. It would make a fine notecard or upbeat addition to a wall of your home or office.
Lantanas (Lantana camara), which resemble verbenas, are a charming flower with a small, tight cluster head that are easy to grow. This bright yellow lantana is shown against a soft purple background (a natural cedar fence). Purple is a perfect complementary color for these bright and cheery yellow flowerheads, representing all stages of the bloom cycle.

Photographed in late May, 2014, with a Nikon D7100, Nikon 105mm/f2.8 Micro Lens, Hoya circular polarizer, and ND filter, outdoors in early morning light. Cropped to the equivalent of 4x6, though larger sizes are of course available.
