A gorgeous yellow and orange sunset at the Grand Canyon, Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona, USA. An original film photo shot by the artist from East Rim Drive in 1993 after a rainstorm. Beautiful serene-looking horizontal image, cropped to the equivalent of a 16x9, with smaller sizes and greeting cards available.
This lovely skyscape in gentle shades of peach and purple, with dramatic horizontal lines and layers, was photographed in the summer of 1993 with a Minolta Freedom Escort and Kodak film. Scanned in 2014 and designed to look like a painting.
Many of many of my Arizona photographs have that painterly look. I purposely used the same or similar techniques for all painterly images in my Arizona Gallery, so they would work together in a grouping. I hope you will consider that as you plan any changes to freshen your décor or, if you are a professional decorator, the home or office of a client.

This true aesthetic loves beautiful things, from architecture to the intricate details of flowers and plants. A native Californian who lived in Arizona before settling in Texas, I love nature, topography, and exploring small towns, looking for old buildings, unique objects, and rust. I enjoy making scenes look interesting and natural, as I saw them, and worthy of a place in your home, your office, your life. For 15 years I worked as a dental hygienist. Then I spent 25 years as an award-winning writer, graphic designer, and editorial consultant--skills I still use in this venue and in helping others with special projects. This unique background, requiring discernment and perfection, helps ensure the quality of my work. I hope you will...
