Gravel road entrance to a beautiful ranch on the Gulf Coast Plains of Texas. Shot in late afternoon, when shadows were long across the road, and the light provided a combination of textures, silhouettes, and softness in the distance. A classic rural Texas landscape with no sky, no people, and beautiful late afternoon light.
Lots of greenery in the trees and grass, plus lines and angles that lead the eye throughout the image and provide interest. Black angus cattle can be seen in one of the pastures.

Then I spent 25 years as an award-winning writer, graphic designer, and editorial consultant--skills I still use in this venue and in helping others with special projects. This unique background, requiring discernment and perfection, helps ensure the quality of my work. I hope you will...
