During World War II, this vintage US Navy submarine, the USS Pampanito, sank six enemy ships and damaged four others. The submarine is on display at Fishermans Wharf in San Francisco, California, USA. Onboard tours near Pier 39 in San Francisco give visitors an idea of what life was like for the crew.
