Description
A lovely hillside near Chappell Hill, Texas, displays a swath of Indian Paintbrush in a horizontal streak, dotted with a sprinkling of yellow and blue wildflowers. At the top of the hill are native trees.
A beautiful blue sky filled with white cumulus clouds tops this gentle landscape, typical of what one might see on a drive through Washington County, Texas, in springtime. Nearby is Brenham, and a few miles to the northwest lies the town of Independence, the homesite of Baylor University and the former home of Sam Houston and his family.
