The former Dr Pepper Bottling Co. built in 1944 in Bellville, Texas, rendered in black-and-white sepia, and showcasing its unique original rock facade and vintage version of its famous logo, which has undergone changes through the years.
This building has changed owners (and uses) a number of times since we started coming here as a family around 1980. This true aesthetic loves beautiful things, from architecture to the intricate details of flowers and plants. A native Californian who lived in Arizona before settling in Texas, I love nature, topography, and exploring small towns, looking for old buildings, unique objects, and rust. I enjoy making scenes look interesting and natural, as I saw them, and worthy of a place in your home, your office, your life. For 15 years I worked as a dental hygienist. Then I spent 25 years as an award-winning writer, graphic designer, and editorial consultant--skills I still use in this venue and in helping others with special projects. This unique background, requiring discernment and perfection, helps ensure the quality of my work. I hope you will...

Thank you, Terry Cobb, for featuring my new submission, "Dr. Pepper Bottling Co. Bellville 1944" in Seen But Not Noticed. I've been in this building several times, and passed it by dozens of times, and never could have imagined its history! Finally someone took the rock facade down to its roots, and voila! Dr. Pepper!
