Description
Black digital flowers on a white background with red border, designed entirely from letterforms in various typefaces and assembled in CorelDraw!
The digital image was then imported into PageMaker, printed, and framed. The vase is a large capital V in a typeface called Braggadocio. Flowers and leaves are small e's and h's in Party, manipulated in CorelDraw! The framed original was digitally scanned in 2010, certain original elements removed, and a red border added with the thought that the image might make a nice note card or interesting piece of desktop publishing or typography memorabilia.
Should you wish to use this as a greeting card, try sliding the bar to make the image small enough that the sides touch the edge, then click the black option. I think it looks pretty cool. See what you think!

Thanks, Mary! This started out as a classroom assignment in graphic arts, and turned into a favorite that hangs on the wall of my office. I just thought it might be worth sharing. So I'm especially glad whenever I receive comments such as yours.
