Artist's Description
One of the world's most famous landmarks, the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California, USA, is featured in this classic fog-filled color image looking from the mainland toward Sausalito. An old fort that flies the American flag is seen at the base of the bridge on the San Francisco side. White, purple, and yellow summer flowers fill the foreground, with a feathered white vignette wrapping up this beautiful coastal landscape scene in a 2023 update.

If we weren't escaping to Santa Cruz, we were cooling off in San Francisco! Glad this image resonated with you.

Besides being a beautiful image, this picture captures the essence of summer in San Francisco. I used to live in Central CA and when we had very hot summer days, we loved to get away to the cool fog of San Francisco. Beautiful composition and sense of depth!! Very nice work!! L F

Beautiful -- the contrast between the foggy background and bright flowers is inspiring. Next foggy day, I'll go looking for a bright subject to shoot.
