Description
Illustrating Psalm 27:1, a color photo of three ivory candles burning with a warm, lovely glow in front of a small Christmas tree. The lights of the tree have created an interesting and colorful bokeh effect in the background (lens: Nikon Nikkor 50mm f/1.8). Shot during the day with a Nikon D80, but having the appearance of a night shot.
Working on several other versions that will include appropriate verses from Scripture as part of this image, either for wall art or notecards. Meanwhile, you might consider ordering the image (sans text) as notecards, with one of these or other Scripture verses printed on the inside: Psalm 18:28 "The Lord turns my darkness into light," or Psalm 27:1 - "The Lord is my light and my salvation."
Shot during the holidays, but not exclusively a holiday photo. Concept image depicting warmth, coziness, light, illumination. It also brings to mind certain verses of Scripture on topics such as the love of God, our love for him, faith, and spiritual growth and enlightenment.
