FEATURED ON THE HOMEPAGE OF FINE ART AMERICA
Classic black-and-white monochrome photo featuring glaciers on the active volcano Mount Rainier (elevation 14,410 feet), in the beautiful state of Washington, USA. The iconic mountain is framed by a forest of evergreens, leading the eye to the glacier-filled slope in view.
Shot in late August 2012. Also available in color. The color version recently has been refurbished, so it is temporarily listed as a new image. You will find more images of Mount Rainier and the surrounding area in my Washington State and Mount Rainier galleries.
