Description
Bright yellow-and-pink hibiscus, suitable for horizontal large-size use. Setting is a tropical garden, outdoors during the day. Featured against a blurred brown background. This super-sharp color macro even shows the hairs on the hibiscus stigma, in addition to its filament, duotone ruffled petals, stems, and leaves.
Hibiscus is a genus of flowering plants in the mallow family and can be brewed for tea. It is quite large, containing several hundred species (232) that are native to warm-temperate, subtropical, and tropical regions throughout the world. Noted for their showy flowers. Commonly known simply as hibiscus, or less widely known as rose mallow. The genus includes annuals and perennials, as well as woody shrubs and small trees. (Adapted from Wikipedia.)
