Description
PROPERTY RELEASE ON FILE.
Black-and-white rural landscape photo of feed storage bins (hoppers) and metal-roof buildings on a Texas farm. Shot with permission in March 2012. Property release on file.
The vintage tanks and bins, or hoppers, have weathered over the years, yielding lots of texture and rusty patterns, plus a variety of shapes and sizes, lines and angles. The white clapboard building provides contrast, interest, and visual weight. Also available in vivid color. Behind the subject is an old cemetery.

Thank you very much, Calvin Boyer, for the nice homepage feature in A Tree or Trees in Black and White.

Rick Kaplan, thank you for choosing this as a homepage feature for Black and White Images.

In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.
