Port Angeles, Washington, in early September--the afternoon sun reflecting off the buildings along the shore. White clouds on a blue sky, with a beautiful view of the Cascade Mountains, shown here beyond an expanse of evergreens.
The body of water is the Strait of Juan de Fuca, a channel that runs between the United States and Canada, from the Pacific Ocean eastward. Shot from a ferry on the return trip from Victoria, B.C., Canada, to Port Angeles. Compatible with several other photographs in this album.
