Retired Trucks in Fields of Gold
Artist
Connie Fox
Medium
Photograph - Outdoor Color Photo
Description
Color image of several 1940s pickup trucks (at least four), retired and living in a lush field of long golden grasses. The property appears run-down or abandoned, perhaps because of the catastrophic events cascading from the 1980 eruption of the volcano Mount St. Helens.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 - "To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven. . ."
A barbed wire fence can be seen in the foreground, with a stand of evergreens in the background. (Minimal sky shown.) Seen on the way to Mount St. Helens National Monument, in the state of Washington.

It seems these ol' trucks really picked a good spot, and they're still with their buddies. Thanks so much for your kind words and your vote/fave.
