Description
Side view of a beautiful double-ruffled apricot-colored hibiscus blossom in the garden. Soft leafy green background bokeh includes another blossom, out of focus. Lovely flowing lines with sharp detail on the main flower, especially the pistils and stamen.
Cropped to the equivalent of a 5x7, with much larger sizes available. Ideal as a notecard or pillow, or to beautify a wall of your home or office. Ideal for the products too! You will find more hibiscus images in my Botanicals Gallery, including some of this flower.
Hibiscus are in the mallow family, Malvaceae, sometimes called rose mallow. A large vivid flower often made into tea or worn in the hair, and the symbol of many nations, hibiscus bloom daily in spring and summer in tropical or subtropical areas around the world. This double-ruffled apricot hibiscus plant thrives outdoors in the state of Texas.
