Two wood doors with lintels, built into the stonework of Historic Independence Baptist Church, Independence, Texas. The church was established by Texas pioneers in 1839. An old oak tree shades this peaceful scene, photographed in color in May 2014.
Nikon D7100, Nikon 105mm/f2.8 Micro Lens, Hoya circular polarizer, and ND filter. Shot outdoors in late afternoon with available light. A portion of the profits from the sale of this image will help maintain this historic landmark.
