Description
Historic country church with its own cemetery, not far from Weimar, Texas. The moody sky, filled with dark clouds, casts a beautiful light on the silver steeple of this white clapboard worship center, originally known as Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Today it is Trinity Church, non-denominational.
In the foreground, a field of wild grass is dotted with white flowers. Lush green foliage of several old oak trees frames this peaceful scene, photographed in color in June 2014.
