Maybe I'm just an incurable romantic, but I see this image representing a couple in love, showing a strong presence to the world--more productive and happy together than alone.

Clean, simple image of two green palm trees against a stunning blue sky in Galveston, Texas, USA. This type of palm tree grows in subtropical coastal areas such as the Texas Gulf Coast. In many historical cultures, palms were symbols for such ideas as victory, peace, and fertility. Today, palms remain a popular symbol for the tropics and vacations.

The city of Galveston is located on Galveston Island, about 45 minutes southeast of downtown Houston via Interstate 45, and is bounded by Galveston Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Galveston is ideal for a day- or weekend trip as well as a vacation destination for couples and families.

Roughly 202 genera with around 2600 species of palm trees (arecaceae) are currently known, most of them restricted to tropical, subtropical, and warm temperate climates. Most palms are distinguished by their large, compound, evergreen leaves arranged at the top of an unbranched stem. However, many palms are exceptions, and in fact exhibit an enormous diversity in physical characteristics. As well as being morphologically diverse, palms also inhabit nearly every type of habitat within their range, from rainforests to deserts.
