Description
Two antique carriages on public display in Round Top, Texas. With a population of about 80, Round Top is the smallest town in Texas.
This vertical photo shows the entry door of a vintage blue one-person carriage, with what looks like original dirt on the windows, wood wheels, axels, and the assembly that allowed it to be pulled by a horse or horses. Behind it is a portion of a black buggy with tufted leather seats, and homes from that era. Sky is clear blue with no clouds.

Thank you, Pamela, for featuring "Vintage Carriages" and another image on the homepage of the ABC Group. I am especially honored that you chose these two.

I hadn't considered that, Terry. I was thinking of the lack of comfort, especially on bumpy roads. (I should post an interior shot.) And I'm not quite sure how one would enter. The doorway would be difficult to reach. Maybe they used a ladder.

Thanks, Terry, for featuring this image in Seen But Not Noticed. Great concept for a group! Thanks for all your hard work.
