Hoffstadt Creek Bridge, in the blowdown zone on the route to the active volcano Mount St. Helens, Washington, and near the debris dam built to stop the debris flow from its May 18, 1980 eruption. The bridge is part of Spirit Lake Memorial Highway (SR 504), which opened in 1992. Hoffstadt Creek Bridge, one of fourteen new bridges, is 2,340 feet (713.23 m) long and 370 feet (112.78 m) high.

This unique background, requiring discernment and perfection, helps ensure the quality of my work. I hope you will...

Dropped by to view your Hoffstadt Creek Bridge -- this appears to be a spring or summer shot. Impressive!
Connie Fox replied:
Not sure when you stopped by, Faithe, but thanks for doing so! You're right: This was shot in the summertime--late August. What a beautiful area now, but so bittersweet and sobering.
