Lianne, my sincere thanks for taking the time to view my portfolio and comment so generously on my work. Often my point-and-shoot has been pressed into service for these architecture images. I'm amazed at the detail it captures. Happy to hear that you share my love of historic architecture. It's a privilege to document it.

So many extraordinary works of art in your portfolio that it was hard to know where to start! But I have a thing for historic architecture so this most recent piece just captured my heart and my imagination. Beautifully photographed - superb b/w with all those wonderful details showing so clearly. F/V

Artist's Description

Face of a large 19th century Victorian building (the N.D. Hill Building as I recall) with beautiful arched windows and intricate, classic detailing in black-and-white. Photographed in the charming town of Port Townsend, Washington, located in Jefferson County, at the northeast tip of the Olympic Peninsula on the north shore of Washington. Many homes and buildings were built during that time, with most of the architecture ornate Victorian.

With the other Puget Sound ports growing in size, Port Townsend saw a rapid decline in popu...

About Connie Fox

Connie Fox

This true aesthetic loves beautiful things, from architecture to the intricate details of flowers and plants. A native Californian who lived in Arizona before settling in Texas, I love nature, topography, and exploring small towns, looking for old buildings, unique objects, and rust. I enjoy making scenes look interesting and natural, as I saw them, and worthy of a place in your home, your office, your life. For 15 years I worked as a dental hygienist. Then I spent 25 years as an award-winning writer, graphic designer, and editorial consultant--skills I still use in this venue and in helping others with special projects. This unique background, requiring discernment and perfection, helps ensure the quality of my work. I hope you will...
