Artist's Description

"Aspirations. Baylor Female College Site Columns 1846-1886" by Connie Fox.

Four soaring limestone columns, striking in texture and color against a bright blue Texas sky, represent the aspirations of the women who attended, on this site, what was known for its first 40 years as Baylor Female College. About Connie Fox

Connie Fox

This true aesthetic loves beautiful things, from architecture to the intricate details of flowers and plants. A native Californian who lived in Arizona before settling in Texas, I love nature, topography, and exploring small towns, looking for old buildings, unique objects, and rust. I enjoy making scenes look interesting and natural, as I saw them, and worthy of a place in your home, your office, your life. For 15 years I worked as a dental hygienist. Then I spent 25 years as an award-winning writer, graphic designer, and editorial consultant--skills I still use in this venue and in helping others with special projects. This unique background, requiring discernment and perfection, helps ensure the quality of my work. I hope you will...
