ONE OF MY SOLD IMAGES

Beautiful Sonoran Desert scenery in the area called Tortilla Flats, the only remaining stagecoach stop on the famous Apache Trail. A man is seen walking through this Arizona Wilderness, looking for something interesting on the ground. Perhaps an arrowhead left by notorious Apache Chief Geronimo.

Location: about 18 miles northeast of Apache Junction on Highway 88, the Apache Trail, which begins east of the Phoenix, Arizona, metropolitan area. This image shows the mesas for which Tortilla Flats is named, and features a long-stemmed flowering desert cactus, ocotillo, and other types of cacti. Stunning blue sky filled with wispy cirrus clouds, gently rendered artistically.
