This true aesthetic loves beautiful things, from architecture to the intricate details of flowers and plants. A native Californian who lived in Arizona before settling in Texas, I love nature, topography, and exploring small towns, looking for old buildings, unique objects, and rust. I am thrilled and honored, David, that you chose to feature this image in Today's Best Art. Frankly I was disappointed that my Nikon was down for the day. However, for all Port Townsend shots (like this one), my trusty Canon a630 point-and-shoot came through like a champ!
