Artist's Description
Stone lintel over a doorway of a heavily textured limestone building at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, Austin, Texas, USA. Clear cobalt-blue sky complements orange tones of the limestone, capturing the Spanish mission style and rough-hewn construction used by early Texas settlers.
Simple composition in an image that could be used to illustrate Exodus 12. This chapter in the Bible includes the story of the Jewish Passover and, for Christians, ultimately culminates with Easter.

About Connie Fox
This true aesthetic loves beautiful things, from architecture to the intricate details of flowers and plants. A native Californian who lived in Arizona before settling in Texas, I love nature, topography, and exploring small towns, looking for old buildings, unique objects, and rust. I enjoy making scenes look interesting and natural, as I saw them, and worthy of a place in your home, your office, your life. For 15 years I worked as a dental hygienist. Then I spent 25 years as an award-winning writer, graphic designer, and editorial consultant--skills I still use in this venue and in helping others with special projects. This unique background, requiring discernment and perfection, helps ensure the quality of my work. I hope you will...
