This female deer, or doe, was seen running across a field behind homes in the charming town of Port Townsend, Washington. She paused for a moment to pose for the camera.
Port Townsend is located in Jefferson County, and is at the northeast tip of the Olympic Peninsula on the north shore of the state of Washington. Port Townsend�s population is approximately nine thousand. Its area is about nine square miles, some of which is water.
