Why send your sweet lady supermarket flowers when you can send her an entire flower garden at the Golden Gate Bridge! Gestures like this touch my heart.
On the San Francisco side of the Golden Gate Bridge in 2009, I spotted a photographer taking a picture of the fog-shrouded bridge, while I enjoyed the delightful flower garden that echoes its colors. A different perspective for a travel shot of one of the world's most popular tourist destinations, and one of its most famous bridges. On this one, you will find plenty of room for copy, so it should work well for a San Francisco poster or postcard.

Fine-art photography by Connie Fox
California landmark color photo
This true aesthetic loves beautiful things, from architecture to the intricate details of flowers and plants. A native Californian who lived in Arizona before settling in Texas, I love nature, topography, and exploring small towns, looking for old buildings, unique objects, and rust. I enjoy making scenes look interesting and natural, as I saw them, and worthy of a place in your home, your office, your life. For 15 years I worked as a dental hygienist. Then I spent 25 years as an award-winning writer, graphic designer, and editorial consultant--skills I still use in this venue and in helping others with special projects. This unique background, requiring discernment and perfection, helps ensure the quality of my work. I hope you will...

Thanks, Chrisann, for featuring "Flower Garden at the Golden Gate Bridge" in Weekly Fun For All Mediums. I think this is the one in which I caught a glimpse of another photographer shooting, and didn't realize he was in the frame!

You are welcome Connie.......and I hope all best for you, had a problem with one eye 3 years ago and had to live with closed eyes for 10 day. It was boring and scaring. Get well soon - Chris.
Connie Fox replied:
Sorry to learn of the problem you had, and trust you're completely healed. I'm making good progress. Meanwhile, this half-Danish, half-German gal is glad to have made a new friend in Germany! ~Connie

Wonderful image Connie - thanks for your congrats - Chris.
Connie Fox replied:
Thanks, Christiane! Loved hearing from you today. Had eye surgery yesterday, and don't know when I'll be shooting pictures again, so your comment meant a lot to me. My best, Connie
