The Houston, Texas, USA skyline as viewed from the southeast via I-45 from Galveston. The George R. Brown Convention Center is visible to the right. Spectacular clouds caught my eye. I'm intrigued by how the clouds follow the skyline from high to low—settling over the Convention Center.

Houston Skyline Southeast by Connie Fox
This true aesthetic loves beautiful things, from architecture to the intricate details of flowers and plants. A native Californian who lived in Arizona before settling in Texas, I love nature, topography, and exploring small towns, looking for old buildings, unique objects, and rust. I enjoy making scenes look interesting and natural, as I saw them, and worthy of a place in your home, your office, your life. For 15 years I worked as a dental hygienist. Then I spent 25 years as an award-winning writer, graphic designer, and editorial consultant--skills I still use in this venue and in helping others with special projects. This unique background, requiring discernment and perfection, helps ensure the quality of my work. I hope you will...

Thank you so much, Judy, for featuring "Houston Skyline Southeast" in Texas Landscape and Landmark Photography. It's a view seldom photographed, and the clouds rolling in from the Gulf provided the perfect background.

Nice view of downtown Houston!

It does look like a storm. But these types of clouds roll in from the Gulf of Mexico nearly every afternoon, especially in summer. They usually bring a gentle shower.
