Description
Rays of the sun light up the gray sky with beauty, hope, and patches of blue. At the top of the frame, inside the dark gray cloud, one can see a round object, the sun. Photographed in May 2014 near Eagle Lake, Texas, a small rice farming community southwest of Houston.
Nikon D7100, Nikkor 50mm/f1.8 lens and ND filter, shot outdoors with available light. Minimal adjustments and no cropping. Basically as-shot. Also available in black-and-white in my Clouds and Sky Gallery.
