Artist's Description
Outdoor black-and-white square-cropped photo of a multifaceted, segmented succulent blossom getting ready to open. One lone droplet of rain has the appearance of a silent tear. No sky; no people.
Succulents, or crass, are a group of plants that store water in their leaves, stems and roots. The leaves tend to be thick and fleshy, but some genera and species have thicker leaves than others. Succulents tend to thrive in dry and slightly humid climates.

About Connie Fox
This true aesthetic loves beautiful things, from architecture to the intricate details of flowers and plants. Then I spent 25 years as an award-winning writer, graphic designer, and editorial consultant--skills I still use in this venue and in helping others with special projects. This unique background, requiring discernment and perfection, helps ensure the quality of my work. I hope you will...
