Description
Vertical macro photo of multifaceted, segmented succulent blossoms on a gray background, opening to reveal small, dainty hot-pink flowers.
This patio plant is thought to be a type of succulent called an alabaster rose. The base plant is blue. It produced a long, thick stem from which these blossoms are clustered and dangling in graceful beauty. No sky; no people.
Succulents, or crass, are a group of plants that store water in their leaves, stems, and roots. The leaves tend to be thick and fleshy, but some genera and species have thicker leaves than others. Succulents tend to thrive in dry and slightly humid climates.
