Description
Pacific Ocean waves crash against the rocky Southern California coast near San Clemente and Dana Point as advection fog on the horizon conceals Catalina Island. Small birds are perched on a tiny rock island, one of several offshore--beyond the massive collection of boulders in the lower left third of the frame.
In this and other of my galleries, you will find several companion images photographed at or near Dana Point, the rock promontory that lends its name to this cozy, romantic cove near San Clemente and Mission San Juan Capistrano.
