Terry Cobb, thank you for the beautiful homepage feature in Seen But Not Noticed! Quite a significant event 50 years ago, and some of us can remember exactly where we were when Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon.
Diann Fisher
Nice capture, Connie. (lf)
Connie Fox replied:
Thank you, Diann! It was a lovely day in Paradise, though Mount Rainier was hiding--as if to put the focus on Neil Armstrong. Pretty special.

Doug Norkum, somehow I missed thanking you for featuring this image in Nikon Full Frame Cameras on July 7. I really appreciate that, as well as your thoughtful timing!

Congratulations! Your image has earned a feature in Women Photographers group. It's like winning the blue ribbon at a county fair! You are invited to add it to the July Features Discussion for archive purposes. Thanks for being an active member. Great image!

Thank you, Toni Hopper, for honoring this image with a beautiful feature on the homepage of Women Photographers. As we remember the 50th anniversary of Neil Armstrong setting foot on the moon, and celebrate Independence Day, I love seeing our flag displayed in the state of Washington, at the Paradise Ranger Station, in his memory.

Thank you, John Bailey, for choosing this image as a homepage feature in Images That Excite You. This takes me back to a sad but wonderful day of seeing visitors stop and bow their heads before the lowered American flags, to recognize and honor the memory of Neil Armstrong. Everyone I saw stopped where they were and took a moment to remember. Fifty years ago this month! I remember exactly where I was when I watched on a small TV.

Thanks for another feature--this one!--in your group, Vintage America. Have a wonderful Fourth of July weekend.

Thomas, I am humbled that you would choose to feature five of my images in your wonderful group, The American Flag. I love this A-frame ranger station in Paradise, Washington, with its brightly colored window. But I especially love the Star-Spangled Banner that proudly flies there. You made my day! Thank you.
