Description
Wintery-looking color landscape photo of the Alaskan wilderness. Captured along the George Parks Highway between Denali and McKinley in late August 2015. This was the first snowfall of the year, which surprised and delighted us when we awoke that morning at our lodge in Denali.
Although the gray day and snowy conditions give this image the look of a black-and-white, it was shot in color. A touch of golden yellows peek out amidst the Alaskan firs. A companion image to others in this gallery and a tranquil horizontal landscape photo of untouched Alaska, this timeless natural scene, uncropped, is ideal for a wall of your home or office or for commercial use.
