Description
Path through the forest near Lake Crescent, located west of Port Angeles, Washington, on the Olympic Peninsula and within Olympic National Park. Image includes western hemlock, the official tree of the State of Washington, plus a natural path with an interesting interplay of light-and-shadow in horizontal bands that continue to cross it until the path disappears around the bend.
You will find more images of Lake Crescent, the lodge, pier, and surrounding area in this gallery. Meanwhile, try to imagine this as a jigsaw puzzle! Challenging, I'm sure.
