Description
Uncropped vertical true black-and-white image of the front entrance of Trinity Church, featuring an ancient oak tree bordering the driveway and parking area. Trinity is an historic country church with its own cemetery, not far from Weimar, Texas.
Originally known as Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, today it is Trinity Church, non-denominational. Another image of Trinity Church, in color, can be found in this gallery. It shows the cemetery, and a moody sky casting beautiful light on the gleaming steeple topped with a white cross.

In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.
