A short-range recovery helicopter, the U.S. Coast Guard HH-65C Aerospatiale Dauphine Helicopter (Dolphin), on display at the 2013 Wings Over Houston Air Show, Ellington Airport, Houston, Texas. Street scene showing a serviceman speaking with a civilian. Between them on the ground is a lift device for rescuing a person and transporting them to safety.
The USCG rotary wing aircraft (HH-65 Dolphin and HH-60 Jayhawk helicopters) operate from flight-deck-equipped cutters, air stations, and air facilities. They are equipped to rescue people from the water or from the ground.
On behalf of the Commemorative Air Force, which produces Wings Over Houston, The Point Group has granted permission to display this and other images from this years air show.
