Active volcano Mount Rainier (elevation 14,410 feet), in the beautiful state of Washington, USA, partially hidden in clouds above a valley filled with steep cliffs and evergreens in Mount Rainier National Park. Shot in late August 2012 during a drought. Still, the colors are beautiful, and the famous mountain is highlighted with white glaciers. A gorgeous, tranquil scene.
In this album you will find a similar image featuring several tall evergreens in the foreground. In this one, lavender clouds, the curves of the valleys, the dips and turns, ups and downs, plus the ruggedness of the area are the focus, along with the mountain.
