Description
A large old Western hemlock tree near the edge of Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park, on the north shore of the state of Washington, USA. Beneath the gentle sky are rolling peaks of the Cascade Range, covered with tall evergreens. A kayaker can be seen on the lake, enjoying the pristine beauty of the outdoor wilderness on a beautiful October day. The Western hemlock is the state tree of Washington.
