FEATURED ON THE HOMEPAGE
OF FINE ART AMERICA
This 2022 beauty just got a major refurbishing, so I decided to feature it among my brand-new images. Hope you enjoy the subtle changes and will consider its bold color and presence for your home or office décor.
Gorgeous sofa-size macro photograph of a red hibiscus flower, with a magenta throat, blooming for just one day in a tropical garden. This one is tagged "President Hibiscus. Hibiscus Rosa-Sinensis President." It requires at least six hours of direct sun and will continue to bloom through all seasons except winter. Thriving in the Greater Houston Area of Texas, USA.
Hibiscus are in the mallow family, Malvaceae, sometimes called rose mallow. A large vivid flower often made into tea or worn in the hair, and the symbol of many nations, hibiscus bloom daily in spring and summer in tropical or subtropical areas around the world. Please see my Botanicals and Tropicals Galleries for a variety of hibiscus images to suit your needs.
