Description
The graceful forms of two slender trees, with their intertwined branches and leaves, fill the frame of this peaceful black-and-white landscape and nature photograph. Look closely and you will see a visual feast of shapes, textures, and contrast. White sky peeks through the foliage, providing the light of life.
At its roots, you will find in this beautifully natural image an interesting study of the simplicity and complexity of nature. It also depicts family and couple life at its best: standing together on common ground, having separate lives and their own destiny but rooted as one. These two are close, reaching out to each other, touching. In this season of life, with two standing side by side, every day can be Valentines Day.
However you choose to view it, simple or metaphoric, this woodland beauty would be ideal in a variety of rooms and settings. A versatile piece on canvas or metal, or as a framed and matted print or set of notecards. Photographed in springtime in Texas, when the branches looked dark in the late-day sun and the leaves were fresh and sparkling. Shot in color and converted to true black-and-white with added texture.
