Description
Reminiscent of the past, downtown brick buildings in Eagle Lake, Texas, shot in May 2014 from the intersection of Main Street and McCarty. According to the information on several buildings, these date from around 1900. They are not fancy, for Eagle Lake is a small rice farming community. But note the two round windows on one of them, and the beautiful Texas sky.
Nikon D7100, Nikkor 50mm/f1.8 lens and ND filter, shot outdoors with available light. Converted to black-and-white and given a sepia tint.

Featured on the homepage of the Beauty group, June 2014. What an honor to have an image featured right after it was posted to FAA. Also featured in June 2014 in Weekly Fun For All Mediums and Premium FAA Artists. My thanks!
