Description
Square macro, or closeup, photo features a single cluster of orange ixora. Droplets of water cover the lacy flowers and sturdy green leaves, and the flower has a pretty starburst appearance. The scientific name for ixora is rubiaceae.
Ixora, meaning flame of the woods, is a sun-loving plant native to Malaysia. This popular residential flowering shrub thrives in mild climates and requires little care. You will find more ixora images in this album, including two that could serve as companions to this in a wall grouping. All three are flexible in terms of how they could be hung, either vertically or horizontally.
