Few will grasp the meaning of the title of this image, but I am thankful for the hearts of those who do. Outdoor square-cropped color photo of a multifaceted, segmented succulent blossom getting ready to open. Thought to be an echeveria blue rose or alabaster rose (echeveria imbricata). Only one cluster of concealed blossoms is in focus, with some blue ruffled edges of the plant, their edges in coral, forming part of the out-of-focus background.

A complementary succulent completes the background in bright green. No sky; no people.
Succulents, or crass, are a group of plants that store water in their leaves, stems and roots. The leaves tend to be thick and fleshy, but some genera and species have thicker leaves than others. Succulents tend to thrive in dry and slightly humid climates.
