Gorgeous color landscape photograph with water reflections of a beautiful blue sky on a community lake. Posted with permission. This is one of many master-planned suburban communities in the Prairies and Lakes region of Texas that runs roughly north-south and inland of the Texas Gulf Coast.
Captured on a brilliantly clear summer day, this beautiful landscape image shows the clubhouse and sky reflected in the lake. In the foreground is a large mound of native grass. No people. The style of the area echoes that of the Texas Hill Country. The Hill Country is one of five major areas of Texas, and borders the Prairies and Lakes section of Texas in which Katy, originally a small rice farming community, is booming.
